Lawn

• Bermuda & St. Augustine:
  Spray any green broadleaf weeds with Ferti-lome Weed Free Zone.
  Scalp Bermuda lawns to desired height.
  Water once a week to maintain root base moisture.
• Fescue:
  Water 2-3x per week.
  Fertilize with a quick release Nitrogen or Ferti-lome Greenmaker.
  Apply Natural Guard Activator, to lower ph and to condition the soil.

Trees & Plants

• Pruning your trees December thru Mid March
• Prune evergreen shrubs that are not early spring bloomers.
• Prune your roses.
• Spray dormant oil on all plants, with the exception of any plants that are in bloom.
• Plant trees, including fruit trees, for it is the best time of the year.

Flowers

• Divide and transplant your perennials and summer bulbs.
• Deadhead pansies.
• Cut back your mums and other perennials, liriope, and vinca ground cover.

Garden

• Prepare garden by tilling and adding more compost to the garden (1 inch per year) and a general garden fertilizer.
• It is time to plant your Onions and all root vegetables, like radishes, potatoes and carrots.
