Lawn

• Bermuda’s and St. Augustine:
  Water weekly, in times of drought.
  Apply Pre-emergent to prevent weeds.
• Fescue Lawns:
  Water 2-4 times per week, depending on temperature and the amount of sunshine.

Trees & Plants

• Tree pruning is good thru March.

Flowers

• Last chance to plant spring flowering bulbs, unless you want to chill them.
• Fertilize cool season annuals in pots and in the ground.
• Spray Dormant Oil on all outdoor plants and trees, unless they have flowers currently on them.
• Pansies need to be deadheaded.

Garden

• Composting-Maintain your compost piles.
• Add compost to your beds. Get your flower beds ready for spring season.
• Good time to make sure your mower is ready for spring. A tune-up and sharpen the blades!
