Lawn
- Dylox can be applied if any grub issues remain. (It is also good for ticks.)

Bermuda & St. Augustine:
Fertilize with a slow release fertilizer. (Green Maker is a good slow release fertilizer.)
Re-apply a pre-emergent like Dimension.
A soil acidifier will help maintain a good ph level. (A correct ph level allows for insecticides and fertilizers to work better.)
St. Augustine sod can be installed, also Bermuda sod and seed can be planted.
Increase water, to 2-3x per week.
A total of 1 inch per week should be applied. -
Fescue:
Use Iron-x to maintain green grass, without the risk of burning due to the heat.
Increase water to 3-4x per week.
Raise mower to 3.5-4 inches tall.

Trees & Plants
- Use Fertilome Tree and Shrub fertilizer for a 2nd fertilizing of trees and shrubs.
- Spray Pecan trees for case borers and insects.

Flowers
- Tip prune and flowers that appear leggy.
- Dead head blooms that are spent
- Use water soluble fertilizer on pots plants on a weekly basis.

Garden
- Fall tomato plants should be planted now.
- Squash, okra, beans and peas can still be planted
- Use organic fertilizers like Fox Farm on a monthly basis.
- Inspect your dogs and cats for ticks and fleas.
